SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Job Description:

The Account Executive role at Whitehorse is geared toward highly motivated individuals with an impeccable work ethic who are driven by a work hard, play hard mentality. Our Account Executives are the backbone to the sales floor and are responsible for developing their own book of business.

Our Account Executives are empowered to carry out Whitehorse Freight’s Core Beliefs through excellent customer service and their entrepreneurial spirit. With our unparalleled access to prospects, Whitehorse Freight has a very high matriculation rate and very low turnover.

Responsibilities:

Develop customer relationships through prospecting during the Account Executive training period.
Provide freight rate quotes to customers on the contractual and spot basis.

Target the customer’s logistics needs and analyze how the Account Executive can adapt to best serve the customer.
Responsible for building their own book of business using in-house software.

Maintaining strict pick-up and delivery standards.
Provide exceptional communication and tracking throughout the cycle of the shipment.
Ad-hoc duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Self-starting entrepreneurial spirit.
  • This is a sales job, the ability to cold call is a must.
  • Excellent computer skills (Office, Windows & transportation management software.)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR / IT SPECIALIST

Full-time

Job Description:

At Whitehorse Freight, we don’t just keep things running — we keep them running fast, secure, and without interruption. We’re looking for a hands-on IT Specialist / Network Administrator who’s ready to take ownership of our systems, support our team, and keep our operation moving at full speed.

As our in-house IT leader, you’ll manage day-to-day technical needs while overseeing the performance and security of our network. If you’re proactive, solution-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively
  • Manage and resolve email issues across the organization
  • Configure and maintain phone systems, including RingCentral
  • Oversee and maintain the company network, ensuring performance and reliability
  • Monitor systems to keep the network running fast, stable, and efficient
  • Protect the organization from threats including malware, ransomware, and viruses
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the team

What You’ll Do

  • Own and build all core HR functions, policies, and best practices from the ground up

LOGISTICS SUPPORT
Part-time, 2nd and 3rd Shift

Job Description:

Whitehorse Freight is looking for a hardworking Logistics Support with proven organizational skills and with strong problem solving skills. Logistics Support is designed to keep our company running smoothly outside of normal business hours. We are looking for someone to be the direct contact with all aspects of the transportation process inside sales department, customers, shipping and receiving facilities, and load transporters. The main function of this role is to confirm our loads are on track from pickup through delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to existing accounts, confirming drivers are on schedule for pickup and delivery.
  • Answer inbound calls and effectively assess the needs of each caller (most commonly regarding updates or issues along the shipping route).
  • Document each customer interaction within the appropriate account and promptly convey urgent information to the specific sales team.
  • Address all incoming emails, text messages, and electronic updates in a professional and timely manner.
